About Feetlips
Michael McNulty and myself Joshua Florence have officially commenced in our music making journey. We have known each other for about 5 years and have wanted to play music together for some time. But because of school and other bands, were never able to unite. But finally here we are today, making music. Our goal is not to get signed, or to conform to any certain genre, or put out music that we dont love. We play what we enjoy. We have very diverse tastes in music ranging from jazz, world beat, death metal, pop, folk, electonica, and so much more. Our goal is to fuse these sounds into one big catchy orgy of noise… to the point where an audience member can close their eyes, feel the beat, shake their fist and either say… “This music must be made by Jesus Christ himself!!”…… or “OH GOD! WHAT IS THIS? Id rather listen to Kenny G’s cover cd of all the best love songs of the 90′s!!”. But in all seriousness, we would love your feedback.
We have now come to a snag in the band making process. The idea of adding band members has come up in discussion. We are very content with our two man line up sounds, but feel as if it could be a little more…. ‘Full’, for we only have keyboards drums and some (very little) guitar. We are skeptic about changing our sound and creating music that doesnt fit us. If anyone listens, likes what they hear, plays music, has the same influences, have sufficient equiptment and is looking to play… contact us. We will gladly let you practice with us and try it out! We are looking to meet new people and to have a good time.
We hope all of you enjoy this music experience as much as we do and we hope to see you at EVERY SHOW! Speaking of which, if you play shows in the Massachusetts and Connecticut area and are looking for a fun band with a lot of energy we will gladly play, we are not looking for pay either, unless you insist… (which would be very acceptable).
